C = 2*pi*r
6 = 2*pi*r
r = 3/pi
A = pi * r^2
A = pi * (3/pi)^2
A = 9 / pi

i dont know the joke.....
i dont know how to use that......
Yes that is much better zegroes,
If you use the math(input=result) button you get
$${\frac{{\mathtt{1}}}{{\mathtt{5}}}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{{\mathtt{10}}}^{{\mathtt{9}}} = {\mathtt{200\,000\,000}}$$
Actually I think your answer is probably better!
That's ok zegroes,
There is also the Math(Input=result ) button on the answer page. So if you do want do do a calculator answer you can type it in there and the asker can at least see what you have answered. Even that is better than giving just the answer.
But ususally other answers are better anyway.
Chight = Cylinder hight
Tsurface = surface of the circular disk on top = PI * Diameter^2/4 = PI * 25in^2
Bsurface = surface of the circular disk at the bottom = PI * Diameter^2/4 = = PI * 25in^2
Lsurface = lateral surface of the cylinder = Chight * PI * Diameter = 15in * PI *10in = PI *150in^2
Cylinder surface=Tsurface + Bsurface + Lsurface = PI * 25in^2 + PI * 25in^2 + PI *150in^2 = PI * 200in^2
It's really simple: plug and chug and trial and error. The answer is d because:
4(5) - 5 = 15
Please answer
nvm
ahhhhh but thats what you and CPhill are for i give people the quick answer and you guys (can show the work if they want to see it) see young people like me have stuff to do we cant sit down and ACTUALLY LEARN we just need an answer then zoom back to our lives lol
sorry melody but you really can type that in a calculater so i can only give an answer i thought
6 pi
hmmmm i dont no......maybe???? lol thumbs up on that picture BTW
200000000 is the answer is that enough work melody!!!!shesh
But you would do the addition first
$$\begin{array}{rll} (x+2)(x-2)&=&x(x-2)+2(x-2)\\ &=&x^2-2x+2x-4\\ &=&x^2-4 \end{array}$$
You really need to learn to recognise this as a difference of squares.
The brackets are the same except one has a - and the other has a +
$$\boxed{(x+a)(x-a)=x^2-a^2}$$
This is a great piece of writing.
I love all those analogies. I'll ponder them for ages. Thank you Mr know-it-all
It depends on what x is
I don't get it reinout-g. Am I just too old? How sad.
