Does it involve division too?
Which one are you talking about? About Problem 21, or about D?
Hi Ninja,
Another way to write words is with a message box \mbox{This will be a comment}
I saw heurika use some other command for a message but this is the one i use.
You cannot put any maths things inside the parenthenses LaTex will not accept it.
hi Ninja,
You are starting to use LaTex in ways that I have not used it.
I think I know how you put the boxed results on the right but I will need to play before I am sure. Thanks.
I will be learning all sorts of things off you soon. I am very impressed !!
Melody, I translated it and it said in English:
$$Computers\;tong\;hop.$$
Is it a riddle?
Are you really asking a question?
Make sure your spelling is correct.
Dragon, do not pretend to know more maths than you really do - It misleads people.
Also - do not make another post after this because it will really annoy me and you do not want that!
Yes. I know. But thanks!
the square root of 5 is an irrational number which cannot be express exactly as a fraction or a decimal.
DS has given you an approximation.
Thanks - Now I get it!
Stu, I never write inappropiate titles when I write a title.
$$Me\;gusta!$$
$${\mathtt{2}}{\mathtt{\,\small\textbf+\,}}{\mathtt{2}} = {\mathtt{4}}$$
$$4\;is\;the\;answer.$$
$${\mathtt{1}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{\mathtt{3}} = {\mathtt{3}}$$
$$3\;is\;the\;answer.$$
$$Hope\;it\;helps!$$
Why the negative points, people?
I don't know. What's the name of the app?
Stu, that happened to me today!
I was on the spanish forum writing down the answer and it said webpage not available.
Why did it say that?
Please help.
Thanks
Thanks Chris. I am going to play with GeoGebra.
**PLEASE NOTE: I should not have done the working out on the actual diagram. This is just to demonstrate where the numbers come from. **
( people do not like cricket or baseball)
You just repeated my answer DS! Will you please stop making excessive posts.
Read the question again, Melody.
I think that the answer is no solution.
But, thanks Melody!
(Gave you points for that!)
Sorry, didn't read that. Sorry. Will give myself -5 points for that.
There is no solution to this DS. Absolute values MUST be positive!
Wait! I did the wrong calculation!
The answer is -2, like Melody's answer!
Sorry for the wrong answer!
I read it fast. Sorry about that!
√5=2.2360679774997897
√100=10
Hope it helps!
√=square root
Melody, can you give me the negative points for the wrong answer?
So, who's correct? You or me?
0.01=1/100=10^-2
The answer is -2
And the answer is $${\mathtt{7.5}}$$.
