I got this answer form this link: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110618083459AAJsvSU&guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAJTBmArb19H5HeDojH5rgQLFSovkza-9PVAT9KcVube-dRVJFoS5hcfNO2gHPsb2SHxJA3snPx5S9SDQPo6LMw3SoXBplUMiC26anaLMejI2jBOewvZsvTNuu5hjlQL3Rw4igCzCcohPNjTOZfQyE2E_IXIBNklh6Krzm9PZkIWG

For a)

you have 120 m of fencing. you divided that by the 4 sides you have to enclose. This gives you 30m. to find the area you multiply length x heights so 30m x 30m = 900 square meters.

120/4=30 30x30=900

for b)

you have the same amount of fencing but only 3 sides, so in this case you take 120/3= 40.

40 m x40 m=1600 square meters

I got my answer form here: https://web2.0calc.com/questions/my-friend-any-help-is-appreciated

This answer is from CPhill:

At 3 mph....your friend covers  3 / 60   miles per minute

At 4 mph......you cover  4/ 60    miles per minute

So....every minute....you close    [  4 - 3 ]/ 60   =  1/ 60   miles  on your friend

And when she has been walking for 5 minutes......she will be  5 * [3  / 60 ]  = 15/60  = 1/4 of a mile ahead of you when you start

So......the number of minutes, m, it will take to catch your friend can be found by :

( 1/60) m  = 1/4      multiply both sides by 60

m =  60  / 4   =    15 minutes

I got this answer from here: https://brainly.in/question/18756313

Answer:

144 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Side of original Square

= 4A  cm

Hence Area = (4A)² = 16A²   cm²

Then

Square when folded  in half

Then Sides of rectangle

will be  4A   &  2A

Now again Folded

Sides can be  2A  & 2A    or  4A  & A

2A  & 2A  would be a Square ( its given that its not a square)

Hence Second Rectangle Sides are 4A & A

Perimeter = 2(4A + A) = 10A

10A = 30cm

=> A = 3 cm

Area  of the original square =   16A²  = 16 * 3² = 144 cm²

area of the original square = 144 cm²

I got this answer from https://www.topperlearning.com/answer/the-interior-angles-of-a-polygon-are-in-apif-the-smallest-angle-is-120-degree-and-the-common-difference-is-5-degree-then-the-no-of-sides-in-the-polygo/tk5eo455 so check it out

Smallest angle=120degrees

Common difference=5

A P is 120, 125, 130,……..

The sum of interior angles of a polygon= (n-2)180

Hence Sum of n terms of an A P = (n-2)180

n/2 {2.120+(n-1)5} = 180(n-2)

5n2 -125n +720 = 0

n2 -25n +144=0

n=9 or 16

Hence number of sides can be 9 or 16
