That did not work I think it is wrong

y = -x^2 + 5x      max point will be   - b/2a

                                -5/(-2) = 2.5    this is the value of 'x' at the high point (y)

y high point =  - (2.5)^2 +5(2.5) = - 6.25 + 12.5 = 6.25 ft   = 6 ft 3 inches         DUCK ! 

Standard form    y = ax^2 + bx + c

 2x^2−12x−3y+12=0    re-arrange so y term is on one side

3y = 2x^2-12x+12        divide through by 3

y =   2/3 x^2 - 4x + 4          done.
