I cannot see the pictures and hence cannot answer the question.  

Please type the whole question including the picture part in.

y=mx+b the teh gradient and y intercept form of a line (linear equation)

m is the gradient and b is the y intercept.

For example:I have five cells with the numbers    5   3    3     1     1       .I am looking for a function that SHOW ME THE LESS displayed number,which in this example is number   5   which is the function?

Here is 2 number puzzle for you.  

You do not have to use every number but you cannot use any number twice.

You can only use + - x and divide and brackets.

(1)       2,8,25,50,75,100  Magic number is 431   (This one is very hard)

(2)       4,6,25,50,75,100   Magic number is 821   (This one is easier but maybe not super easy  )

You do not have to use all the numbers.  

One rule which I will never enforce is that at each stage of the calculation the answer is a whole number.  

So in the original game 75/100 would not have been accepted as a part of the solution.  I'll give you thumbs up anyway but do you want to consider it some more Chris?

This question doesn't make any sense.  Product means multiply.

-3-4+3 = -7 + 3 = -4.

I know because one of the districts starts August 12 and I am pretty close to that district. None of the other districts in California start that day either. However, not sure of the specific school...too many here! California is too big...by itself, it has the 6th largest economy in the world...

Let x be the weight of the cherries

Then (6-x) must be the weight of the oranges...since, together, they weigh 6 lbs.

So we have.....

(The weight of the cherries times their cost per pound) + (the weight of the oranges times their cost per pound) = (the total cost)     ....or......mathematically.....

x(5) + (6-x)(2) = 18   ....simplifyting, we get

5x + 12 - 2x  = 18       ......simplify again

3x + 12 = 18                ....subtract 12 from both sides

3x = 6      

x = 2 lbs. of cherries

you have 16/450=8/225

I use a program called Malwarebytes to scan for viruses....it even has a feature that "sidesteps" viruses that try to prevent you from accessing virus protection software. After a scan, if something is found, it will allow you to quarantine it.

Your problem sounds like mine.....I ran a REALLY old HP (circa 2003) up until this Feb. It had an XP operating system and I had to recover from "crashes" at least 3 times...but, after awhile..it just wasn't worth it and it finally conked out!!

I suspect that you're going to be better off buying a new laptop (or something comparable). I'm running Windows 8 and I can tell you the difference is night and day between this Samsung laptop and that old HP desktop computer. I've had "zero" virus problems.......

If you can hold off, Windows 9 is in the works....it's supposed to be better than 8....!!!
