First you find the future value using the formula     FV=P(1+i)^n 

i = the monthly interest rate

n= the number of months

P=principal that is the amount you invested

Positive numbers are hot and negative numbers are cold.

 I times by 2 because the probability of choosing a duck and then a goose is the same.

Add up all the scores and divide by how many there scores there are.

rate = 5% per annum   r=5/100=0.05

P=300

t=1.5years

I=300*0.05*1.5=22.5

Total owing = 22.5+300=$322.50

I would not enter the units into the calc I would work them out seperately.

$$12*one \;and\; a\; half = 12*1.5$$
