Oh I just found out my mistake, so when I tried to find the equation of Foci, which was a^2 -b^2=c^2
all I did was a^2-b^2=c!

btw I got -1/3, 1/5

  y = 5x+8      substitute this into the other equation for y

5x+8 = -5x -22

10x = -30

x = -3         Now you have 'x' ....use this value in one of the equations to calculate the value of 'y'
