Subtraction is addition of an opposite number. I am not sure what your question is, but the opposite is adding the opposite or in vocabulary, just adding would do.

e^x is the inverse of ln( x)
ln(e)=1
e^(a+b)=e^a+e^b
e^(a-b)=e^a-e^b
(e^a)^b=e^(a*b)
e^0=1
e^(-ab)=1/(e^ab)

the probability to get a double on any single throw is 1/6*(1/6)= 1/36
so for 180 tries you will expect to get 180/36= 5 doubles

I meant in the form Ax + By - C = 0.
Sorry for confusion, I understand the regular form of a linear equation.

Sorry, I forgot about the absolute value.
For the y-intercept that we found, it was:
y = -7
Since you have to find the absolute value, y has to be POSITIVE, but in this case it was negative. Therefore, you have to multiply it with -1 to get the absolute value:
y = (-7 * -1)
y = 7

x intercept is when y = 0
You want to find when the equation is equals to zero:
y = 3x - 7
0 = 3x - 7
7 = 3x
x = 7/3
And y intercept is when x = 0
y = 3x - 7
y = 3 * 0 - 7
y = -7
There you go, hope it helped

Avery411:
:? What is
650+530+52+-28+-75
Whenever there is an addition sign in front of a negative sign, it means minus. So 52+-28 is the same as 52-28. Just think of the addition sign not being in front of the negative sign. So 650+530+52+-28+-75 is the same as 650+530+52-28-75. So 650+530+52-28-75=1129. It's easy

cos 3x=0.39 = > y = 3x -> cos y = 0.39 => y = +-[arccos (0.39) + 2 pi n] => 3x = +-arccos (0.39) + 2 pi n -> x = +-1/3[arccos (0.39)] +- (2 pi n/3)
cos (3x)=0.39

sin x = - 1/4, x=(-1)^n arcsin (-1\4) + \pi n = (-1)^{n+1} arcsin 1/4
(asin(-0.25))
subtract from 360 an absolute value of this angle and you get a positive number (I guess you're aware that
"- angle
" means way clockwise from the 0 grades point on the 360 grades circle) that is identical to the found root of the equation.

Just complete the square to have the expression look like ax^2 + b, where b - is the vertex.

Heat capacity of water: c = 4,182 kJ/(kg*K)
Heat of fusion of ice: q = 334 kJ/kg
ice water:
Q1 = m*q = 4,0 kg * 334 kJ/kg (= 1336 kJ) = 1,3 MJ
0 °C 10 °C (Diff. 10 K)
Q2 = c*m*T = 4,182 kJ/(kg*K) * 4,0 kg * 10 K (= 167,28 kJ) = 0,17 MJ
Q = Q1+Q2 = 1,3 MJ + 0,17 MJ (= 1,47 MJ) =
1,5 MJ

Guys, please learn how to properly present your questions so that persons you are seeking to help you would be able to adequately understand what actually you're asking, OK?
Now for this task: here we have an equations' system with 2 equations and 2 variables. Let's x be the length of the one part of the cable, y - the length of the rest part. Hence the general length is
x + y = 84
. Since one part is 18 m longer that the other so
x = y + 18
or
y = x + 18
. Inserting the expression for any of these variables into the very first equation and solving it for
y
or
x
respectively we then can find the other variable (
x
or
y
respectively)
solve(x + y = 84, x = y + 18)

Could you complete your question? An equation should have both sides separated by the
"equal"
sign unless the task is merely to simplfy this expression. But even in this case your posted expression lacks correct arrangement: (csc((cot(180-x)-tan(x))/(sec(90+x)*
sec( cos, sin,tan, cot,...???)
(90+x))
Simplification:
[csc((cot(180-x)-tan(x))/(sec(90+x)*sec(90+x)] = 1/[sin((cot(180-x)-tan(x)) : 1/(cos(90+x))^2)]= 1/[sin((-cot(x) - tan(x)): 1/(-sin x)^2)] = 1/[sin(-(cot(x) + tan(x))*(sin x)^2)] =
= 1/[sin(-(cos x / sin x + sin x / cos x)*(sin x)^2)] = 1/[sin(-((cos x)^2 + (sin x)^2) / sin x cos x )*(sin x)^2)] = 1/[sin(-1 / sin x cos x )*(sin x)^2)] =
we got smth sharmless and mindless which bears witness that here cannot be sec(90 + a)*sec(90 + a). So specifize it, please.

If I correctly understood your question you need to find some angle "theta" or "phi" from the expression
cos (phi).
In order to achieve that you have to solve a trigonometric equation (simple one, by the way) where \phi (or "theta") =
+- arccos \phi (or theta) + 2\pi n

y = ax + b
Where
a
is constant.
For example, you might have seen an equation like this: 2x+4, and here,
a = 2
, and
b = 4
.
The constant,
b
, determines where the y-intercept is, where the graph of the equation hits the y-axis. If you leave out the b constant (or set it as b = 0), the graph for the equation will start at the origin (0, 0).

9% actually means 9/100. so 9% of 150 is (9/100)*150=1350/100=13,5
