$${\mathtt{6}} = {\mathtt{6\times 10^{0}}}$$
There's nothing to evaluate...you want to substitute "2" into a function....but there is no "x" to substitute into !!!
An equation is any number sentence from 2+2 to 4*161.
0.668 is the answer.
Depends on what in math, Math is more than one thing.
Note √a√b = √(a * b).......does that help???
If you are looking for f, f is 5.5 I believe
f(2)=2*2+7
Hey, man....you have more than doubled your points today !!!!......they'll add up quickly.....I've been here only since March !!!! (and not everyday)
At least it adds to my point score
See???...I told ya' !!!
It's a running gag, happy7....you will get a lot of 1 + 1 and 2 + 2 questions, too.....I usually ignore them.....
Go get 1 cookie. Now get 1 cookie again. How many cookies do you have? 2. Now eat your cookies
Let's see how happy7 got that answer....substituting 2 for x
4.8(2)+1.2(y)=2.4
9.6 + 1.2y = 2.4 subtract 9.6 from both sides
1.2y = - 7.2 divide by 1.2 on both sides
y = -6
9+10=19.
Why does everyone ask this?
18 - ln(3-x)=0 add ln(3-x) to both sides
18 = ln(3-x) exponentially, this says
e^18 = 3 -x add x to both sides and subtract e^18 from both sides
x = 3 - e^18 ≈ -65,659,966.137
y would equal -6.
Thanks so much!!
Good job !!!!
Oops! Sorry! Bad typo! I'll edit
Look at this one again, happy7......if I take 1/2 of something....what do I get???
-10 is the answer
If the slope is 0, the line is horizontal, and it has the equation is x = b, where (a, b) is a point on the line.
So, our equation is x = 5
That's not nice!
