I'll give you a hint
first turn one pair into 4 and the other pair into 2 and then think about it.

7C5
Supermathexpert is correct !
7C5 = 7! / [(7-5)!*5!]
What I am trying to show is that the 5! is on the bottom.
= 1*2*3*4*5*6*7 / [(1*2) * (1*2*3*4*5)]
= 6*7 / 2
=21
If you are doing it on your calculator there is a button that looks like nCr
You put in 7 nCr 5
The C stands for combinations
If you have 7 different books on a book shelf, 7C5 gives you the number of different combinations of 5 books that you can choose.
It is used in probability all the time.
Both numbers have to be whole numbers and the second one cannot be bigger than the first or it will not make sense.
I hope that this helps.

Well,
x=6-y (from the first equation)
Substitute this into the second equation and it will all fall out nicely.
If that is not enough help just ask again.

I like to turn these problems into an equation to solve them.
"12 is what percent of 30" is like saying:
12=x*30
If you know a little algebra, you can solve this by dividing both sides by 30.
.4=x
This is in decimal for however, you must then convert .4 to percent by multiplying by 100 and adding a percent sign:
.4*100=40%
You can sort of check this by thinking. What is 10% of 30? well that is just .1*30 which is 3. Sp since 12 is 4 times your 10% value (3) then the answer is 4 times 10% (40%)! Another way to think about it is 15 is half of 30, which is 50%. 40% is pretty close to 50% and 12 is pretty close to 15. Make sure to add the percent signs where needed, some instructors and math websites will mark you wrong for not having one.
Best of luck!!!

That is seven combination 5 not seven times five. How to find the combination: 7!/(7!-5!)*5!. The ! means 7*6*5*4*3*2*1. so to simplify it you can do this: 7*6*5!/2!*5!. The 5!'s cancel out. so you are left with 7*6/2. 42/2. The answer is 21.

This looks like a simple solve for "a" algebraic equation.
There are a couple ways to do this problem, here is my personal favorite:
Multiple both sides of the equation by 45, this will cancel out the denominator in both of the fractions.
5=1350+a
Then solve for "a" by subtracting 1350 from both sides.
-1310=a

first find a common denominator. 45 is the least common denominator. convert all numbers to fractions with 45 as the denominator. Simplify the problem by subtracting the first term, which is 30, which is actually 1350/45 now on the right side. times both sides by 45 and there's your answer. It should be A=-1310.

First divide both sides by -7,
y=-12/-7
Then simplify by cancelling out both negative signs,
y=12/7
You can find the exact number by plugging the numbers (12/7) in the calculator if needed.

y=-1x+b. Plug in point. 1=(7*(-1))+b. 1=-7+b. add seven to both sides. 8=B. equation is y=(-1)x +8

slope is y2-y1/x2-x1. So 1--8/4-0=9/4. The answer is 9/4.

Melody, Thanks for the reply.I forgot to mention that the numbers from which the irrational numbers are derived have to be co-primes which means that they cannot have a common factor.
12 and 3 have a common factor.
P.S. I am making an attempt to solve the Beal Conjecture and have not been able to yet.

How about you actually try and work it out for yourself and stop being lazy, see what goes into eight ans then see if any of those go into 63....its not hard at all.

There is a formula but I don't use it and I can never remember what it is because it is not necessary.
I'd just say (40/360)*2pi*r = 3000
Then just solve the equation.
