divide 72 by 4 that will give you the dollar amount and if there is any thing left over that will be how many quarters you have left

The practice of rationalizing the denominator of the fraction relies on the following rules:
1. Both numerator and denominator are multiplied by denominator and the operation is repeated frequently until irrationality is fully eliminated.
2. If only a part of denominator is under radical sign, then irrationality is broken by multiplying both numerator and denominator by conjugate expression thus involving the formula a^2 - b^2. Once again, this operation is repeated as many times as it's necessary to break free of the radical.
Example: a/[sqrt(m) - sqrt(n)] = a[sqrt(m) + sqrt(n)]/[sqrt(m) - sqrt(n)]*[sqrt(m) + sqrt(n)] = a[sqrt(m) + sqrt(n)]/[m - n];
a/sqrt(n) = [a*sqrt(n)]/n

Let's factorize each number to simple multiples: 794 = 397*2, while 39 = 13*3. If we try to perform the division then we'll see that none of them can be divided without a remainder. Hence, 794 cannot be divided by 39.

Maybe you would be so kind to specify the parameters you entered, for ex., what is E? Is it the square of the triangle or what? If it is, then how can the sguare be of the same value as its side? Further, you forgot to indicate the type of triangle - is it right-, acute- or obtuse- angle? Impossible to understand and therefore to solve.

Thank you. That was the right answer.
But, I did this...is it also correct?
36x^2-24x+4
(6x-2)^2 because (6x-2)(6x-2)= is the same thing?

the score in the middle positin is the median.
You need a cumulative column.
The middle position is (n+1)/2 where n is the number of scores
You use the cumulative column to work out what this score is.

Simplify 36x^2-24x+4
It shouldn't be simplify, it is already simple, it should be factorise.
At least, I am factorising (I think Americans spell it with a z)
=4(9x^2 - 6x + 1)
Now to factorise 9x^2 - 6x + 1
You need to look for two numbers that multiply to 9*1 = +9
and add to give -6
Since they multply to a positive number, the signs must both be the same
since they add to -6, the signs must both be negative
-3 x -3 = 9 and -3+-3=-6
so the numbers are -3 and -3
you have to replace -6x with -3x-3x
so
9x^2 - 6x + 1
=9x^2 - 3x - 3x + 1
now factorise in pairs
= 3x(3x-1) -1(3x-1) the brackets must be the same
= (3x - 1) (3x-1)
=(3x-1)
2
so
4(9x^2 - 6x + 1) = 4(3x-1)
2
I know this looks long winded but if you practice it on lots of examples it will become quite easy.
If you want me to explain some of my working better just ask me.

-10x-27-3x=4(-2x+5)-12
You start by expanding the brackets and simplifying each side separately.
then add 13x to both sides
then I'll let you think about it.
Try it by yourself now.
If you can't do it post another reply.

To let you know why I wanted to know, I wanted to know how many programs could be written to an 8-bit machine like the C-64 with 64KB of memory.
Found the answer with: https://defuse.ca/big-number-calculator.htm
And it's a lot... not enough monkeys in the world to write the Shakespeare.

what is the expanded natation of (-4a) to the power of 4
It is (-4)^4 * a^4
can you do the rest?

No that is not correct
just put 2 divided by 3 times 357 into your calc and you'll get the right answer.

I assume you mean
(-1/5)*x-4>-3
add 4 to both sides
then multiply both sides by negative 5 but remember that when you multiply or divide by a negative number you have to turn the sign around.

Yes I think that is true but it is not true to say it the other way around
I say 'I think' because I am open to contradiction.

tan(2x) is undefined or discontiunuous for x=(pi/4)+-(pi/2)k where k is any integer
y = lnx has the domain x>0
so now considering
y=ln(tan(2x))
tan(2x)>0
true for
0 < x <pi/4
2pi/4 < x < 3pi/4
4pi/4 < x < 5pi/4
etc, this is where it is defined, NOT where it is NOT defined.
so It is
not defined for
-pi/4 <= x <= 0
pi/4 <= x <= 2pi/4
3pi/4 <= x <= pi etc
I think this is
(pi/4) +- (pi/2*k) <= x <= (pi/2) +- (pi/2*k) Where k is an integer
I think that this is where the function is undefined.
I also plotted it using http://rechneronline.de/function-graphs/
I think that the graph supports my conclusion but I will admit that I havn't looked at it that hard.

It is already in fraction form
Put the 9 on the bottom. A divide sign or divide line is the same as a fraction line.
