this is an irrational number and it cannot be further simplified. 

However, if you want to estrimat it you can put it into the web2 calc like this

300*sqrt(3)

$$\\(8\sqrt{3})^2=64*3=192\\\\
OR\\\\
8*(\sqrt3)^2=8*3=24$$

- 5 (a+6)

=-5*a + -5*6

=  -5a  -  30

A)

I would let y = the number of early deliveries and x be the number of standard customers (orders)

$$y=320+\frac{3x}{20}$$

B)

More y means more ealy deliveries, this would happen if there were more standard cutomer (orders)

C)

y= kx               where k can be any number greater that     $${\frac{{\mathtt{3}}}{{\mathtt{20}}}}$$

the slope for this line would be steeper than the other one because the gradient is bigger.

It was really good to see you try LaTex but if you are going to use the / sign you must use brackets.

You have written

2*5/4*5+3*4/4*5

simplified this means

=\frac{2*5}{4}*\frac{5}{1}+\frac{3*4}{4}*\frac{5}{1}\\\\
=\frac{2*5*5}{4}+\frac{3*4*5}{4}\\\\
=\frac{50}{4}+\frac{60}{4}\\\\
=\frac{110}{4}\\\\
=\frac{55}{2}\\\\
=27\frac{1}{2}$$

THIS IS OBVIOUSLY NOT WHAT YOU INTENDED

So this is how you needed to write it

(2*5)/(4*5)+(3*4)/(4*5)

which really does mean

$$\frac{2*5}{4*5}+\frac{3*4}{4*5}$$

First....set it to 0

  -.04x^2+1.2x  = 0      multiply through by 100 to clear the decimals

-4x^2 + 120x = 0   factor

-4x( x - 30) = 0       set each factor to  0

-4x = 0    divide by-4 on both sides and x = 0

x - 30 = 0    add 30 to both sides and  x = 30

Be careful here!!!!

We can "cancel" multiplication/division .....i.e.,    √[a^2 * b^2]  = a * b   or  √[a^2/b^2] =  a/b   {assuming a and b are positive}

But .... we can't "cancel" addition/subtraction....

In general ....  √[a^2 ± b^2]  ≠  a^2 ± b^2

This is a common mistake....!!!!
