It all depends on the grading system used. If the grading is from 1 to 100 and the passing grade is 50, then any number below 50 is a "fail". But, there are many other grading systems used all over the world. Some places use letters, such as A, B, C, D, F. In France they use 1 to 20. 20 being the highest grade one can get. Some places in US use 1 to 4 or 5 grading systems, 4 or 5 being the highest score.......and so on.

Like this: example: 1,000,000=1.0 X 10^6. Can you figure it out?

Depends on what you are trying to calculate. The calculator cannot calculate EVERYTHING!!!.

Just multiply: 35% X 75=35/100 X 75=.35 X 75=26.25 that would be his/her grade.

If Kevin had X amount of money, then:

40% of X or 40%X, Kevin would have spent on his book. So, the equation would look like this this:

X - 40%X=$ amount of money remaining in his pocket.

X - 40/100X=$

X - .40X=$ money left.
