Simplify the following: (((2 m^0 x)/y^4)^4)/((4 x^0 y^2 m)^2) x^0 = 1: (((2 m^0 x)/y^4)^4)/((4 y^2 m)^2) Multiply each exponent in 4 y^2 m by 2: (((2 m^0 x)/y^4)^4)/(4^2 y^(2×2) m^2) 2×2 = 4: (((2 m^0 x)/y^4)^4)/(4^2 y^4 m^2) 4^2 = 16: (((2 m^0 x)/y^4)^4)/(16 y^4 m^2) m^0 = 1: (((2 x)/y^4)^4)/(16 y^4 m^2) Multiply each exponent in (2 x)/y^4 by 4: ((2^4 x^4)/((y^4)^4))/(16 y^4 m^2) Multiply exponents. (y^4)^4 = y^(4×4): (2^4 x^4)/(y^(4×4) 16 y^4 m^2) 4×4 = 16: (2^4 x^4)/(y^16×16 y^4 m^2) 2^4 = (2^2)^2: ((2^2)^2 x^4)/(y^16×16 y^4 m^2) 2^2 = 4: (4^2 x^4)/(y^16×16 y^4 m^2) 4^2 = 16: (16 x^4)/(y^16×16 y^4 m^2) (16 x^4)/(y^16×16 y^4 m^2) = x^4/(y^16 y^4 m^2): x^4/(y^16 y^4 m^2) Combine powers. x^4/(y^16 y^4 m^2) = (x^4 y^(-4-16))/m^2: (x^4 y^-4-16)/m^2 -4-16 = -20: Answer: | (x^4 y^-20)/m^2
x-y=3 then x^3-y^3-9xy =?
There are infinitely MANY solutions to this problem, as long as the difference between x and y=3, then the answer is ALWAYS the same=27. If x=10, y=7, then the answer is 27. This remains true for any positive values of x,y separated by 3.
Well, that is one of the more complicated questions this forum receives... I will tryeth my best to give you the correct example... I'm thinking it is....21...!
Are you indeed?
of the hydrogens given here, which is the heaviest?
butane-Mw-58.12 g/mol............3
nonane-Mw-128.2 g/mol...........1
octane-Mw-114.23 g/mol...........2
propane-Mw-44.1 g/mol.............4
Given the above, it is obvious. Mw=Molecular weight.
It's a fine morning KatieLeigh...
I plugged in the numbers for K. But the answer did not look right. I could be wrong though, I might have did it the wrong way.
good morning
