If people really want help they can become members and back up their request for more help with a private message. You are right answer posts can be easily overlooked. I usually put a username in the first line to help assure the person involved sees it.
Anyway if a member asks a question they are notified if there is a new answer. Guests just lose track of their questions!
There is no point in putting excess effort into guests quests especially once the question gets a bit old.
