Well... I'm not too great at calculations in my head, but here's one way.

The question is... how many times does  0.04  go into  3.2  ?

The x-intercept is the  x  value when  y = 0 ........so plug in  0  for  y  and solve for  x  .

-6x - 2(0)  =  - 18

-6x  =  -18

4n - 12  = 12 - 4n      add  4n, 12 to both sides

4  - 12k < 0     add 12k to both sides
