Assuming this is a homework or something from school. I will not give you the exact answers but will help you learn and make the question easier to solve.
These are 5 problems
28. HINT: If there are 400 phones and 2.1% of them don't work, and you are trying to find how many of them don't work. The question is basically asking what is 2.1% of 400 (to the nearest whole number)?
So use your knowledge on percentages and find the answer!
29. HINT: Same as problem 28, try to find what is 1.9% of 2900. If you are trying having trouble finding that, try converting the percentage into a fraction and multiplying it by 2900.
30. HINT: Since the teacher is trying to pick 2 students out of 31, Teesha included, then represent those two numbers as a fraction!
31. HINT: There are 3 ways to get a sum of 8. And there are 3 ways to get a sum of 6. So that means there are 6 ways to get a sum of 8 or 6.
There are also 36 different sums you can get from rolling the two number cubes.
So what is the fraction if there are 6 ways to get a sum of 8 or 6 out the 36 different possible ways?
32. HINT: There are 2 ways to roll a sum of 5 (order does not matter)
