[ first term  +  last term ] * number of terms   / 2

first term  = 3(1)   = 3

last term  = 3(5)   = 15

11 pi  = 2 pi (radius)         [   divide out pi    ]

11 = 2 * radius                 [ divide  both sides  by  2

pi (5.5)^ 2  =

[ 30.25 pi ]   ft^2   ≈  [ 95.03  ]  ft^2

Cheating is a constant concern and a big problem on this forum.

For this reason it may be better to make people wait before they get an answer.

There is often no need to give the final answer.

What i had written was more than adequate. 

    EmeraldWonder was trying to be helpful but she did not add anything of value.  (Except cheat value)

   (She also gave an incorrect impressions - Multiplication is NOT done before divide, they are equally important)

If this is a test it should be timed shouldn't it?  Or even put up and taken down at set times?

So if our answers were delayed for an hour it should not be a problem???

I am nor very familiar with internet testing.

I expect past papers, which are just homework, might sometimes be presented like this??
