A-B 30 k/hr 1.2d / 30k/hr = time
B-A 20 k/hr d / 20k/hr = time
2.2d / (1.2d/30 + d/20) =
2.2 / 1.2/30 + 1/20) = 24.4 k/hr
120 + 80 = 200 liters final solution
salt of ingrediaents = salt in final solution
.05 (120) + .15(80) = ? (200) solve for ? which is the final solution percentage (in decimal form)
1/8×√2=2n divide both sides of the equation by 2
1/16 sqrt2 = n
= sqrt2/16

The three angles must sum to 180degrees, so
8x+5 + 6x-12 +4x+7 = 180
18x =180
x = 10
Now you can work out the measure of angle A.
D = 112.
The corret value of c is 2 + sqrt(5).
what does m stand for
\(\displaystyle r = (3-2\sqrt{2})R.\)
If
\(\displaystyle r = (3+2\sqrt{2})R\)
then r would be greater than R which is nonsense.
Angle at C = 180 -124
Angle at B = 180 - 6x
Angle at A = 2x Summed, they equal 180
180 - 124 + 180 - 6x + 2x = 180 solve for x .......
thank u but i solved it the teacher sent it wrong
How many values do you want?
There could be many values of this.
To solve an equation with two variables you must have two equations.
Saying so and so = [does not insert value here]
is not very useful to solving.
First train travels at 48 mph from 8 to 10 am = 2 hours * 48 m/r = 96 miles
second train travels for 1 hour at 65 m/hr = 65 miles
96 - 65 = 31 miles apart at 10 AM
let's say its like yours how to solve it
This is an EXPRESSION with TWO unknowns
to solve for x and y you will need TWO EQUATIONS relating x and y
somethinig (this is just an example) like:
32x + 54y - 4*x+ 84 = 88 AND x+2y = 17
64*x+16*y-5*x+84=
forgot it sry
how about now
start 9-2x
end of day one add +2x+1 - (3-x)
end of day two add +2x+1 - (3-x)
Add them up!
From 0 to 200,000
24:09 I am going to go home and school
Numbers are good
There is no equal sign, there is nothing to find out.
It says graph the points and draw the line..... can't you do that?
There is a formula for this but I can never remember it.
My method is really very easy and logical.
See if you can work out what I have done and how you are going to finish it.
Post your answer when you are done.
