You have m because m is the slope
so
y=-3x+b
You also know that when x=4 y=0 so you can plug these values into the equation to come up with the correct value of b
Then you just write the equation with the number values of m and b.

It cannot be simplified.
It is an irrational number and cannot be expressed exactly as a fraction or as a decimal.
You can use your calculator to estimate it if you wish.

(2x)^2(4y)^2 this is a bit ambiguous but I going to take it to be
(2x)^2 * (4y)^2 =
= 2^2 * x^2 * 4^2 * y^2
= 4 * x^2 * 16 * y^2
= 64 x^2 y^2

You have just one non-zero number in front of the point 5.046 (you can put the last zero if you want it doesn't make any difference).
You count the number of places that you moved the point - remembering that any whole number has an invisible point at the end. the number of places that you move the point is the power
If the number is little (less than one ) the sign of the power will by negative. If it is a big number it will be positive.
Now you should be able to do it.
If you respond with the answer I will tell you it it is correct.

I don't know what the company did but if you add up all 4 sides you get 201 and 1/2 feet.

Pi is the number of times that a diameter goes into a circumference.
It was worked out by some clever dude.
It is needed for all sorts of building and engineering things.

grams is a weight and ml is a volume so I can only answer this if I know what material you are using.
There is 1 ml of water weighs 1 gram
but 1ml of molten lead would weigh much more.

The square roots of negative numbers do not exist. There is no answer.
If you study maths into university then you will learn about imaginary numbers.
The square root of a negative number is an imaginary number.
You won't need to worry about this for a very long time.
Hope you find this answer interesting.

negative * negative = positive
positive * positive = positive
negative * positive = negative
positive * negative = negative
If the signs are the same the answer is positive
If the signs are opposites the answer is negative
Hope this helps, it is a very important concept for you to grasp.

I assume the answer would be in degrees/time period or radians/time period or revolutions per time period.
You need to give me a full question to be more specific.

Do you mean 9. 7root2, and root8?
You have to simplify root 8
root 8 = root (4*2) = root4 * root2 = 2root2
7root2+ 2root2 + 9 = 9root2 + 9 cm or 9(root2+1) cm

Even functions are when f(-x)=f(x) They are symmetrical about the y axis
Odd functions are when f(-x)=-f(x) The have point symmetry about the origin. This means that if f(-x) is rotated 180 degrees about (0,0) it becomes the f(x)
lets look at your one
f(x) = (x)^4 - 20* (x)^2
f(-x) = (-x)^4 - 20* (-x)^2
f(-x) = (x)^4 - 20* (x)^2 since (-x)^2 = x^2 and (-x)^4 = x^4
f(-x) = f(x)
So it is an even function

The area of a circle is pi*(r squared)
The volume of a cylinder is pi*(r squared)*(perpendicular height)
The volume of a cone is (1/3)* pi*(r squared)*(perpendicular height)
I did it like this because a cone is just a circular pyramid and the volume of any pyramid is 1/3 of its prism partner. (a cylinder is a circular prism)
So radius=2, height=6.5 inch
volume = 1/3 * pi * 2squared * 6.5
volume = 1/3 * pi * 4 * 6.5
volume = 27.23 inches squared. (correct to 2 decimal places)
What nationality are you?
I am Australian and I have never worked in inches before. Don't worry, the maths is the same.
