Your question is very vague.
If you have a cost per gram and want to find cost per kilogram, use multiplication to convert:
cost per gram = C
C dollars 1000 g
________ * ______ = 1000C dollars/kg
g 1 kg

You will move the length of the circumference of the wheel
C = 2*pi*r
You can do the rest.

4x 5 + 3 2 = 2x
You may be right Nod but maybe Danielle meant
4x^5 + 3^2 = 2x (The carrot means to the power of )
4x^5 - 2x +9 = 0
Maybe you were right Nod, mine isn't very freindly.

simplify f^3+f^2+17+8f^2-7f-2
= f^3 + f^2 + 8f^2 - 7f +17 -2
= f^3 + 9f^2 - 7f +15
just the same as Nod told you. But this is where you need to stop.
Simplify in this context means take out any brackets and collect like terms.
definitely do not put any brackets in when you simplify something like this.
If the aim of the question was to put brackets in, you would have been asked to factorise. (spelt with a z in USA I believe)

Why is 0.2 times 0.3 0.06?
You need to draw the pictures that I describe in order to understand what i am saying.
When you are multiplying numbers less than 1 you are best to think of the times sign as 'of'
for instance
1/2 * 1/2 = 1/2 of 1/2
And , if you have a half a cake and you eat half of it, then you will be eating 1/4 of the original cake. Draw a picture to see what I mean
1/2 *1/2 = 1/4
since 1/2=0.5 and 1/4=0.25 it follows that
0.5 * 0.5 = 0.25
I think for most people it is easier to think in fractions though.
--------------------------------------------------------
draw a long rectangular cake and break it into 10 pieces. each of those pieces is 1 tenth of the cake.
Now, you will need to split or imagine each of those 10 pieces split into 10 pieces to make a total of 10*10=100 pieces. Each tiny piece will be 1 hundreth of the cake.
Very lightly shade 3 tenths (0.3) of the cake. that's how much cake you started with. The rest is already gone. You have also shaded 30 hundredths (0.30) of the cake because 3/10=30/100
Yours question is 0.2 times 0.3 (0.2 of 0.3)
0.2 is 2/10 so you want
2/10 of the 30 tiny pieces of a cake that you have
1 tenth of 30 is 3
so 2/10 of 30 is 6
so the answer is 6 pieces of cake
but each piece is 1 hundreth of the original cake
so the answer must be 6 hundredths of the original cake
6 hundredths = 0.06
I hope that helps.

88=(5.5)/(1+p)^30
It should first be noted that p cannot be equal to -1
88(1+p)^30 = 5.5
(1+p)^30 = (5.5/88)
noe take both sides to the power of 1/30 and you can finish it.

If you mean what you have shown then..
4 x 5 + 32 = 2x
20 + 32 = 2x
52 = 2x
26 = x

Gather up like terms...
f^3 + 9f^2 -7f + 15
take f out as a factor in the first 3 terms
f (f^2 + 9f - 7) + 15
I don't think you can easily factorise the stuff in the () so this may be as far as it goes...

This expression needs to equal something (ie. you have only shown half the equation). Then the question probably say 'differentiate with respect to...'. This is the other piece of info needed. Without these two pieces of info, then it is anybody's guess....

Or another way...
Convert the decimal fractions into whole numbers by multiply both by 10.
ie.
0.2 x 10 = 2
and
0.3 x 10 = 3
Now multiply together
2 x 3 = 6.
However, we have to remember that we multiplied both numbers by 10 (ie. 10 x 10 = 100) so we must remember to divide the answer by 100
...0.06

you can write 0.2 as 1/5 and 0.3 as 3/10
and when you multiply 1/5 with 3/10 you get 3/50 ( multiply the numbers above and multiply the number below)
3/50=0.06

Calculate the acceleration of a biker travelling around a circular path of 36.9 meter radius at 19.9 m/s
The acceleration is into the centre of the motion and
a = v^2 /r
a = 19.9^2 / 36.9
a = 10.7 m/s

I think that's right but I am pretty new to this stuf too.

This you tube showed a proof - I thought it was interesting but if you don't follow it or don't want to know about it, it won't matter
you just need to remember the formula.

Nod's answers are right but I thought you might like a reason.
20% off - divide by 5 because 20/100=1/5 you are actually multiplying by 1/5 which is the same as dividing by 5
33% off - divide by 3 because 33/100 =1/3 approx you are actually multiplying by 1/3 which is the same as dividing by 3
25% off - divide by 4 etc
10% off - divide by 10
These give the discounts, which is what you are asked for but if you needed the new price you would have to subtract the discount off the original price.

What is the ratio of csc(3pi/4)
This is the 2nd quadrant so sin and therefore cosec is positive
= csc(3pi/4) = 1/sin(3pi/4) = 1 divided by +sin(pi/4) = 1 divided by (1/sqrt2) = 1*sqrt2/1 = sqrt2

how can u divide 1 by 2.54, with showing your work?
For starters, you can't divide by a decimal unless you are a calculator.
think of it as a fraction 1/2.54
and multiply by 100/100 (to make the bottom a whole number)
so it becomes
100 divided by 254
As a fraction it is easy.
100/254 = 50/127
As a decimal you need to do it by long division and it is a bit hard to show you that in this forum
I found a good you tube clip that will show you how it is done,

If you can imagine looking straight ahead (neither up nor down) then this is zero elevation or depression. If you look up at an object (perhaps a star) the straight line from your eyes to the star is the line of elevation (going up). If you were to look down (at a stone) then the straight line from your eyes to the stone would be the line of depression (going down).

Convert the 'three and two thirds' into thirds (top heavy fraction)
3 2/3 = 11/3
Now when you divide by a number (any number) it is the same as multiplying by its reciprocal
The reciprocal of 11/3 is 3/11 (just turn the number upside down)
So now we can answer the question:
11/12 x 3/11 = 3/12 = 1/4
