you change a decimal int a fraction by putting the decimal number as the top

for example: 1.56      1 56/?

then you put how places the decimal on the bottom 

for example: 1.56      1 56/100

then you round it til you cant round it any more    

for example: 1.56        1 56/100= 1 14/25
