You can do that by copying and pasting from about any source.
When using Windows you can use the Accessory Character Map to copy and paste them.
Pick any site where you can type latex, and you can copy and paste the symbols when viewing the result.
Pick any web page where the symbols you want are listed, e.g. wikipedia, and you can copy and paste them.

A couple other things came to mind

These are much more of the you'll get to them than the you need them now type of thing but the sooner you learn them the better off you will be. Especially if you are going to a top school.

For Industry, and I assume you intend to work as an engineer some day, b-e are a must. Additionally if you ever expect to do digital circuit design (a) is a must.

I can tell you this from 3 decades of experience in the field. If you showed up as an intern with a solid understanding of b-e you would be golden.

a) boolean logic - you won't need this immediately but when you get into digital circuits this is critical

b) programming skills - I'm 10 years out of date w/regard to programming so I don't know what language to recommend you learn but you'll need to be solid in at least some programming language that allows you to create structures, use pointers, etc. Back in the stone age when I programmed we all used C and I bet if I was to start doing embedded programming again I would still use C. These days I guess you need to know an object oriented language and that's not a bad thing. Used properly OOP can lead to code that is very elegant and easy to extend.

There's a book we used to all have called "Design Patterns". That book should be on your bookshelf and I think there is even a follow on to it now.

c) these days the tools for helping you with algebra and calculus and graphing/graphics are just too good not to use so I would recommend getting facile with whatever software your school has available. Mathematica, Mathcad, Matlab, they should have at least one of those though there are some public domain tools out there now too. Learn one and use it. You'll save yourself enough time to maybe have a social life. (ha! just kidding everyone knows EE's have no social life!)

d) Unix build environment. Eventually for your projects you are going to be doing coding and if your school is anything like the one I went to your coding environment will be some flavor of Unix. You need to learn to use the MAKE program or it's equivalent to let you build software projects.

e) I don't know how serious a school you are going to. Some of the more serious ones give you significantly hard software projects so that you will have to use version control with a team of other students. If you think this applies to you you should have a basic idea of how to use software/document version control.

The first person can sit anywhere. You need someone seated in order to START the order (there is no beginning or end like when you put things in a row)
After that there is 7 places for the next person, 6 places for the next one etc
That is there are 7! permutations which is the same as 7P7

Here is my version of the magic number (choose the one that is best suited to your ability level)

Rules:
You have to use some or all of the numbers to make the magic number. You are not allowed to use any of the numbers twice. (Unless one was written twice in the first place)
You can use brackets, +, -, x, or divide and that is it.

EASIER ONE (not done yet)
3,5,2,4 and the magic number is 40

HARD ONE (Hopefully it is easier than Reiner-g's last one. I think that it is)
3 8 9 10 50 100 and the magic number is 583

Hint: 1994/2 = 997

Even with the hint it was really HARD
This is what i did (eventually)
5x7x20 = 700
2x7x20 = 280
added together this is 980
980+17=997
Now lets factorise 5x7x20 + 2x7x20 = 7x20(5+2)
So the final answer is

2x[7x20x(5+2)+17] = 1994

Good evening everyone,
It was really hectic today. The questions never stopped.
There were some great answers provided today by Bob, Rom, I like Serena, Princess Sophie and Guest. Thank you all.
Warped Tour Girl (who has been with us since our quieter days) Gave Rom and me a very nice thank you for our efforts.

Reinout-g gave some feedback regarding organizing our resources. At the moment I am starting to 'throw them' into onto one of the information threads below. They will need to be organised better than this eventually. Some things will need there own posts but I thought we could eventually, when it is organised properly, take a page each to use for our own selections. Obviously the individual will need to be responsible for his/her own page, since no-one else will have editing access. There is a free program called Gyazo which acts like the snipping tool accept the picture gets stored in the cloud and it has its own address that can be shared. Maybe we could make good use of this. My computing knowledge is quite poor. Maybe other people have better ideas.
