There are a number of ways.

Say I want

or using the keys I'd press  [2nd] [asin] 16 = 

asin stands for arc sine and arc sin means the same as inverse sine

You make a table with two columns , x and y, then come up with a value for x and substitute it into the equation. Then you will solve for y. once you have solved place the y value in the y clumn of the chart. Do this at least twotimes, then, on a graph, use the values of the x's and y's as the coordinates.

If you divide x by a denominator of 1, that number stays x. (x/1=x)

(0.7/1+0.5/1)-0.5

(0.7+0.5)-0.5
