is it gabe11 or gage11?
Urghhhhhhhhhh!
oh
Your company needs to have $40,465.00 five years from now. If the interest rate at your bank is 6% compounded quarterly, how much will you need to deposit into your account today in order to have the desired amount in 5 years?
a. $29,999.26
b. $29,666.92
c. $30,044.05
d. $30,000.00
e. $20,044.05
The answer is "c"-$30,044.05. You use exactly the same PV formula as in the previous example.
He was when I posted that...
Solve for k over the real numbers: 75 = 100/e^(15 k) 100/e^(15 k) = 100 e^(-15 k): 75 = 100/e^(15 k) 75 = 100/e^(15 k) is equivalent to 100/e^(15 k) = 75: 100/e^(15 k) = 75 Divide both sides by 100: e^(-15 k) = 3/4 Take reciporicals of both sides: e^(15 k) = 4/3 Take the natural logarithm of both sides: 15 k = log(4/3) Divide both sides by 15: Answer: | k = 1/15 log(4/3)=.0.01917880..........
judging from the online users thing at the bottom he's not on right now
The answer is "a"-$1,636.36. The formula you use to calculate this is:
PV=FV(1 + R)^-N, PV=Present value, FV=Future vale, R=Interest rate per period, N=Number of periods.
PV=1,800 X 1.10^-11
PV=1,800 X .909090.......
Pv=$1,636.36
Usually it tell you this then it ask a question. What you probably want to do is solve for the k part.
Take the natural log of both sides
\(Ln(75) = Ln(100e^{-15k}) \)
\(Ln(75) = -15k*100\)
\(k= - (Ln(75)/1500)\)
\(k = - 0.0028783254090242\)
I'm trying to convince gabe11 to talk to me... He is very stubborn... Do you read me gabe? I said I was sorry!
yep. what about you?
okie dokie...!
lol. I'm just watching some randome video on youtube

I have...!
I like your picture
no. have you ever seen the animated alice in wonderland by disney?
Is it your birthday?
yea :D
That handwriting.
I'm not sure, but I doubt it...450 253 is the answer, I believe. Unless it isn't addition, or I am missing something...
IDK Melody, I disagree, I thing life is too short to take figuratively...
