Try this,
Highlight the url (that is the address) that you want to copy then press [ctrl] and [c] at the same time. That should copy it over to your clipboard.
Then go to where you want to paste it
Put your curser in the right place
and use [ctrl] [v] to paste it in.
See is that works :/

No it didn't work. It got further than it did before.
Before the second tab was just a blank page and now it is displaying properly and I can choose a picture BUT it still refuses to put the pic into the post. :/

For a while no one posted pics and then Alan worked it out and told us how to by pass the problem

I don't understand what you mean by "restrictions". Each question has its own unique solution or solutions, depending on the complexity of the question. In this question, the value of x is simple and straightforward with no restrictions that I can see. You may communicate your thoughts as to what you have in mind.
