Check out the BIG BRAIN on Hayley.....!!!!.......good job....!!!
If you multiply the $29.25 by 1.4, which would be 140 percent, then you are only adding on 40 percent of the $29.25, and not 40 percent of the original price, which is why you are coming up short. Instead, you need to do $29.25 divided by .6 (60 percent), which will give you $48.75.
I guess you want to know the constant speed??
If so...
Distance / Time = Speed ...so...
240/4 = 300/5 = 60 mph
Nice work, Hayley......showing HOW you got the answer is more valuable than just GIVING the answer.....!!!!
[ I'm guilty of the second one, at times.....!!!! ]
ur daughter and dont go to skool it doesnt help
I think you might have made a slight error???
If the building is 75 ft tall......the adjacent side to the given angle - A - can be found thusly :
tan(18) = 75/ A re-arrange
A = 75/ tan(18) = about 230.826 ft
The hypotenuse =
sqrt(230.826^2 + 75^2) = 242.705 ft. .....note.... this is NOT the building height!!!!......it's the distance from where the angle of elevation was measured to the top of the building
Oh wow, NICE Job!! :)
Simplify the following: 7+1/8+8+1/2+6+1/4+2+1/8 Put 7+1/8+8+1/2+6+1/4+2+1/8 over the common denominator 8. 7+1/8+8+1/2+6+1/4+2+1/8 = (8×7)/8+1/8+(8×8)/8+4/8+(8×6)/8+2/8+(8×2)/8+1/8: (8×7)/8+1/8+(8×8)/8+4/8+(8×6)/8+2/8+(8×2)/8+1/8 8×7 = 56: 56/8+1/8+(8×8)/8+4/8+(8×6)/8+2/8+(8×2)/8+1/8 8×8 = 64: 56/8+1/8+64/8+4/8+(8×6)/8+2/8+(8×2)/8+1/8 8×6 = 48: 56/8+1/8+64/8+4/8+48/8+2/8+(8×2)/8+1/8 8×2 = 16: 56/8+1/8+64/8+4/8+48/8+2/8+16/8+1/8 56/8+1/8+64/8+4/8+48/8+2/8+16/8+1/8 = (56+1+64+4+48+2+16+1)/8: (56+1+64+4+48+2+16+1)/8 | 3 | | 6 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 4 | 8 | 1 | 6 | | 4 | | 2 | | 1 + | | 1 1 | 9 | 2: 192/8 The gcd of 192 and 8 is 8, so 192/8 = (8×24)/(8×1) = 8/8×24 = 24: Answer: | 24
Thanks CPhill !
The LCM of 6, 9, 3, and 12 is 36. The mulitples of 6 are 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36 The multiples of 9 are 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54 The mulitiples or 12 are 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72 Your Least Common Multiple is 36.
the least common multiple of 3 9 and 12 is.....36
"Exponential growth" is not one equation but a concept. Example: If I put $1,000 in the Bank and the Bank pay 5% interest compounded annually, then my money will grow exponentially, depending on the interest rate and the number of years. So, at 5% for 10 years, my money will grow: $1,000 X 1.05^10=$1,628.89. But, if I left my money in the Bank for 30 years, then: $1,000 X 1.05^30=$4,321.94. Also, a higher interest rate will have the same effect. So, a 10% interest rate will give:$4,321.94 for 10 years, and: $17,449.40 for 30 years.....and so on.
Note that we have similar triangles, such that :
BDA ≈ BAC ....so....
BA/DA = BC/AC
And BC = sqrt(10^2 + 20^2) = sqrt(500) = 10sqrt(5) .......so....
10/DA = 10sqrt(5) /20
10/DA = sqrt(5) / 2 cross-multiply
20 = sqrt(5) * DA
DA = 20/sqrt(5) = 20sqrt(5) / 5 = 4sqrt(5) → (C)
Never mind. 242.7 feet tall.

I wanna help you, But I cannot see it :(
Here is the FASTEST program on the Internet to calculate Pi. You can download it for free for Windows. On my laptop, it calculates 1,000,000 digits in 1/10 of a second. That way, you can also test the speed of your computer. Here is the link:

Good luck!.
