Yup....me too. There are valid IQ tests online you can take....they take a few hours, but I wouldn't worry too much about that....mostly you should be concerned about your grades vs others in your class....just try to be the best...you may or may not succeed (I fail often....just ask CPhill ! ha)...BUT I'm learning and getting BETTER! Yes they pay taxes. Most of them are in unions and get paid too much for what they do and there is no incentive to do better because they are only paid (generally) by how LONG they hve been there. Counting their LUCRATIVE benefits, they are gemerally paid much more than their equivalents in the free markets....henc government continues to grow and get more inefficient (no competition)

You can look around on the internet....various....but the people who are PAYING taxes are paying a LOT.....because ther are a lot of people who pay nothing and the tax rate is PROGRESSIVE....Belive me...

Just my example....... the current tax code exempts people from paying taxes when their income is below a certain level to not tax the poor. BUT when people say the 'rich' are not payong their 'fair share' it is a total lie......they are the only ones paying taxes ! TRUE...our crazy tax laws allow SOME of the WEALTHY to pay low taxes due to deductions etc....but still...MOST of the tax income to the fed gov is paid by the top 5% of people......

The United States currently has a PROGRESSIVE tax rate....the more you MAKE the HIGHER your tax rate...
example (simplified) if you make 20 dollars your tax is 5 dollar
if you make 40 dollars your tax is....? 10 dollars? no....it is 14 dollars
if you make 60 dolars your tax is...? 15 dollars? no...it is 25 dollars
PROGRESSIVE.....the MORE you EARN the HIGHER the PERCENTAGE you pay
