The formula to find the volume of a sphere is V= 4/3 * TT * r³. Radius is half of the diameter so instead of 8 it is 4. Pi is a really long number so you can just use 3.14. Replace the "r" with 4. 4 cubed is 64. 64 * 3.14 = 200.96. Last, multiply 200.96 * 4/3 which will give you an answer of 267.9466666666666667. You can round this to the nearest hundred, ten, one, tenth, hundredth, or thousandth. I took pre-algebra in 8th grade so this is easy.

This number in scientific notation would be 1.169 * 10^26.

The area is referring to the area of the tipping site.

I got it.

But there is a mistake in the first part Willie will receive 2000 not 200

thats why the total allowance of the first one is 6194  So the first one gives the better compensation.

but I totaly got the idea.
