Factor (y-3)(y+1) = 0

Thus y=3 or y= -1

There are two ways to do this.

You can either add 5% of 800 (use cross-multiplication to do this) to 800, then multiply by 23, or multiply 800 by 23, then add 5% of that to the answer.

Method 1:

*(5/100) x (x/800)
*5 x 800 / 100 = 40
*800 + 40
*840 x 23 = 19320

Method 2:

Now look what we have
( dnt try to multyply....bcz it always make more tricky, multiply shud be our last weapon if nothing gonna work )

x^(2/3)-2x^(1/3)-3=0

it s similar to a^2-2ab+b^2=0 i.e. (a-b)^2=0

so try to make it in this form of ( a-b)^2

STEP1. x^(2/3) -2x^(1/3) -3=0
STEP2 x^(2/3) -2x^(1/3) +1-4=0 ( -3 can be wrttn as +1-4= -3 )
STEP3 (x^1/3)^2 -2x^(1/3)+1 -4=0
STEP4 { x^(1/3) -1}^2 -4=0 ( its in the form of (a-b)^2 )
STEP5 { x^(1/3) -1}^2 = 4
STEP6 { x^(1/3) -1}^2 = 2^2 ( 4 is square of 2 )

Removing square from both sides

{ x^(1/3) -1} = 2
x^(1/3) = 2+1
x^(1/3) = 3
x = 3^3

so for equilateral triangle inscribed in it now.....we alrdy hve 45 -45 as two equal angles
so make 90 as 45 degree

i.e half of the triangle we assumed

area of equiltrl trianle will be= 1/2 of area of triangle
=1/2 x 36
=18 sq.cm

Remembr 1 thing tht the answers will be multiples of 5!!

So answers shud be multiple of 5

( jst shift zero as per percentage)
