y=4-x from the second equation....equate this to the first equation
4-x = x^2-3x + 4
0 = x^2-2x
0 = x(x-2) so x = 0 or 2
x+y =4 means y = 4 or 2 (0,4) (2,2)
First one I got the same answer
Second one 1 inch = 6 feet
1 inch squared = 36 sqft
48 in^2 = 36 x 48 = 1728 ft^2

The value of f' at x = 2 = slope of the curve at that point....
slope of tangent line 1 = 4/2 slope of line 2 = - 1/3
slope 1 * slope 2 = -4/6 = -2/3
