Well from the other post we know she draws 4 lines.     18cm/4 lines = 4.5 cm per line

  also the paper is.  4.5 cm x 4.5 cm.   
now can you do the 6 x 6. One?    Hint:  it takes 5 lines to divide into 6 spaces....

Note that TWO vertical lines and TWO horizontal lines will create a 3 x 3 grid

that is 4 lines at  ? inches each = .........   total inches.     You will have to know the dimensions (?)of the original square paper ....     3 x 3 grid of squares does not tell you the dimensions....

Assuming these terminal points are on the unit circle:

arctan 1  = 45 degrees                      x = sqrt 2 /2      y = sqrt 2/2

arctan -7 = 98.13 degrees                 x = 1 cos 98.13    y = 1 sin 98.13

Now you have two x 's  and two y 's      slope  =   (y1-y2) / (x1-x2)

A system of two linear equations will have infinitely many solution if both equations reduce down to the same one.

3a + 4b  =  7

6a + 4b  =  k - 4b   --->   6a + 8b  =  k

Muliply the first equation by 2:  3a + 4b  =  7   --->   x 2   --->   6a + 8b  =  14

Compare that equation to the second equation:                       6a + 8b  =  k

They reduce to the same equation if  k = 14.
