y= 4x^2+x      since we want to find where the equations are equal...just equate them

4x^2 +x = 3x+5     and rearrange

4x^2-2x-5 = 0          now use quadratic formula to find x = 1.39564     x= −0.895644

     then plug those values of 'x' into one of the equations  (3x+5 would be the easiest)  to find the corresponding 'y' values.......

In general, when you have the complex number a + bi the angle is given by \(\theta =tan^{-1}(\frac{b}{a})\)

+ 7 - 2 = 5

+ 7 x - 2 = - 14

 well, if you follow the formula of two minuses equal plus, it has to be -2 add 7, because then -2 x 7 = -14,
