What would you like? A factored form? I'm guessing factor, since that is what you can do:

To begin, we can use the RRT (rational root theorem) to get a root: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rational_root_theorem

We see that 1 is the only possible root.

From here, we see that one factor is (x - 1)

Divide x^3 + 4x - 5 by x - 1.

         x^2 + x + 5

         -----------------------------------

x - 1  |  x^3 + 4x - 5

Therefore, the factored form is (x - 1)(x^2 + x + 5)
