The week is starting to liven up. There were some great answered supplied by Alan, I like Serena, Bluefrog and kitty<3. Thanks you.
Brainiebean123 joined today. Welcome to Web2.0calc forum. We hope you like it here. Looking at the posts that you made today I think you and reinout-g might get along well. He likes providing puzzles, Maybe he can find some that you like.

Information for new people.
There is a private message system here. If you left click on your username you will find it. If you go into the user control panel then Board Preferences, you can get a pop-up display for new messages, that is if you wish to do so.
If you send a message it will sit in your outbox until the recipient opens it. In the mean time you can edit it or delete it if you wish. It only moves to sent mail after the recipiant opens it. It is a really cool system. i wish my usual email worked this way.

I sent another email to Andre Massow today regarding Latex. My letter was very similar to the one i presented to you two days ago. I also reiterated my need for moderator privileges. The detritus around here really needs to be cleaned up. I would not abuse any privilege that I was given. I would be encouraging core members to help mould conduct policies. Anyway it is all irrelevant at the present time .

I think that just about sums things up on this Monday evening. I just realized, it has been Sunday in many places. My the place is getting busier.

However,
If none of the sisters are siblings to each other then there must be five brothers.
However
If some are siblings and not others there could be 2 to 4 brothers.
so
There could be any number from 1 to 5 brothers.

However,
if they all have a brother does that necessarily meant that they don't have more than one brother? I think that they could have lots of other brothers.
so
that means there is at least 1 brother but there could be many.

The web2.0calc scientific calculator purports to be programmable - select the word "Programming" underneath it. However, I've not managed to figure out how to get this to work (if it does work!). If you look at http://hp15c.com/ there is a web-based RPN calculator there (which can also be downloaded for free).

Hi tannawirsch,

I think you are suppose to assume that the horizontal velocity stays the same.
Afterall, it is not being acted upon by gravity and friction with the air is insignificant.
So th horizontal speed stays at 1.4m/s until it hits the floor.

But this is not the smallest unit, nor is mm,

There are 1,000,000,000 nanomtres in a metre and there are 10 angstroms in a nanometre (Angstroms are not commonly used) These two units may be used to measure the wavelength of electroradiation or the diametre of an atom.

so 79,109km = 7.9109 x 10 ¹⁷ angstroms
That is 791,090,000,000,000,000 angstroms

For every 3 green markers there are 5 purple ones. So, you just have to divide all the markers into 8 piles (3+5). Each pile will have 3 green and 5 purple markers. You see if you can work it out from there.
