this is how the question should really have been written.

975/3250=975/3250 *100%= 30%

975/3250  = 0.3        I just did that on the calculator

now to change a fraction or a decimal into a percentage you have to multiply by 100

0.3 = 0.3*100 % = 30%

Perhaps I ahve not understood what you do not understand ???

Here is a simple non-technical way to understand this:

Since Pi(in radians)=180(degrees), then you have:

arctan(sqrt(3))=60 degrees, which is: 180/3, theresore,

arctan(sqrt(3))=1.0472....radians, which is: Pi/3

3x plus 3x = 9x

Why is a negative times a negative a positive?

If you have a debt ot $5 (I mean you owe the bank $5 then you have -5  dollars.

This means that if you get $5 dollars you have to pay it straight to the bank so that will bring your wealth to 0.

-5+5=0

Now we will start with  - 15 dollars.   That is a 15 dollar debt.

If you take away some of that debt you will have less debt

eg

-15 - (-3) =  dollars worth of debt = -15 - -3 = -15+3 = -12

What about if you take away 3 dollars of debt 4 times ?

-15 - (4 lots of $3 debt)

=-15 - (4* $3 debt)        hopfully you can see that this is -15- (4*-3) = -15 - - 12 = -15+12 = -3

but another way to do it is

=  -15  - (4* -3)

=  -15  - 4* -3

=  -15   +  (-4*-3)

=  -15   +      +12

=    -3

I know it is a bit confusing and there are other easier ways to show you using patterns but this should give you something to think about anyway :/

Reciprocal ratios

cot=1/tan         see how the 3rd letter in the less familiar one = the first letter in the 'normal' one

sec=1/cos        see the 3rd/1st leter thing again

cosec=1/sin     and  again  (in Australia we write cosec not just csc

Complementary ratios

Remember: Complementary angels add up to 90 degrees

The 'co' stands for complimentary.

Identities that you need to remember are

Just about everything else can be worked out from there.

I don't think I remember anything much else but most people remember a few more because it takes them too long or it is too difficult for them to derive other things.

NOW IT IS JUST A MATTER OF PRACTICE, PRACTICE AND MORE PRACTICE.        

There are no inequalities to "solve".........

7x+8-2x=-7     simplify  on the left

5x +  8   = - 7       subtract 8 from both sides

5x  = -15                divide both sides by 5

x = -3

7x-2x=-7-8

5x=-15

x=-15/5

x=-3

Notice that, 6 hours after midnight  - 6AM - your graph reads 71°   while your professor's reads 41°.......this seems  more likely because the coolest temperatures usually occur in the early morning hours

Also.....notice that 18 hours after midnight  - at 6PM - your graph reaches its lowest temperature  of 41°  while your professor's hits 71°......this is also more likely as temperatures usually peak around the early evening hours

You were close.......note that "A"  can take on  a negative value......!!!!!!!.......it just "flips" the curve when it's negative........

the limit in fact does not exist. unless the graph is both continuous and differentiable
