Hi Calebmok
We present our mathematical answers in LaTex.
The LaTex tab is in the ribbon.
You do not need to know muxh to start using it and then you can just keep adding to your knowledge a little at a time.
Ty this
I want to write squareroot of (3x+24)
squareroot is sqrt but since you want to interpret this as a symbol you must put a \ backslash in front of it.
So it is \sqrt{3x+24}
\sqrt is called a function - that is programing speak don't confuse the term with a maths function.
3x+24 is the argument. It must go in parenthesis {curly brackets}
You do not need to know the fancy words to use Latex though :)
so like I already said it is \sqrt{3x+24}
NOW click on the LaTex button to open it and the write or copy that into it and hit ok. (you need to delete the stuff that is already there) Here is the result.
\(\sqrt{3x+24}\)
