I have a samsung S4Active phone and I don't know how to do hardly anything on it.

My method is to press button furiously and sometimes if I am very lucky something just works.  

This method is much more miss than hit.     lol.

Not much excitement today.  Some one tried to abuse the site by posting 14 'assignment' questions but members soon ignored them,  which seemed to be accepted as the correct response.  

It came to my attention today that some people do not know how to copy and paste web addresses so I prepared this.  The address is stored in the sticky thread called "information pages worth keeping or developing."  Maybe one of you can do a better job.  Mine is only good for windows operating systems.  Actually I just this instant received a pop up from Zegroes.  I think he was asking how to do it on a phone - but I could have got it wrong!

When you say, the new car costs $22,500, is it inclusive of sales tax or before sales tax? If it is inclusive of sales tax, then:

(22,500 x  0.08) / 1.08 = 1,666.67 just multiply the 22,500 by 8% and then divide 108% and then you get the amount of sales tax included in the cost.

But if the cost of the care is before the sales tax, which means the 22,500 is only net amount with sales tax then, 

22,500 x 0.08 = 1,800

I'm assuming you want to find an angle with the same value as -cos(300)

cos(300) = 1/2   ....so ...-cos(300) = -1/2

So, you're looking for an angle with a cosine value of -1/2

This occurs at 120 degrees and at 240 degrees

The general answers would be

120 + n360   and   240 + n360          where n is an integer

Rearranging 5x -10y =1, we have  10y = 5x -1....dividing by 10 on both sides, we get

y = (5/10)x - 1/10

Since we want to write an euation of a line perpendicular to this one, the slope of our line has the negative reciprocal slope of  (5/10) = -(10/5) = -2

So, using point - slope form, we have

y - (-2/7) = -2(x - 1/2)

y + 2/7 = -2x +1         subtract 2/7 from both sides

y = -2x + 5/7             I actually like this form because I can see the slope and y intercept right away, but putting it into Ax + By = C form, we have   (by multiplying both sides by 7)

7y = -14x + 5        

14x + 7y = 5

And there you go.......

=\frac{12x}{15}+\frac{5x}{15}-\frac{15x}{15}\\\\
