CPhill ,no we cant catch up for this at a later time becoz this is the holy month in which if you fast and dont dont do or speak anything bad then u'll be showered in blessings but when this month is gone and then you fast , then its of not much use !a person can fast the whole year in the same way following the same timetable like starting , ending a Roza but this wont matter as much it matters in Ramadan and it wont even be called a Roza and just a simple fastso you cant catch up for the missed days at a later time becoz both of the fasts are totally different !

I should have said "make up" rather than "catch up." What I meant was that, if you accidentally (or maybe, even on purpose) fail to keep your promise of fasting one one or more days.......can you "atone" or make up for this at a later time???  I've heard that this is allowed in some places.......but frowned upon in others !!!

CPhill i dont get what do you mean by " catch up" for the missed days at a later time!By the decreasing of the date i mean that  just the date goes back by 10 days , like out here we are going to have Ramadan started from tomorow which is 30th June then next year Ramadan will start here from 20th June (10 days decreased) and end in 20th July which on totalling the days in between gives 30 days !And this will continue for every year !

Thanks, Alan...this is derived from "Binet's Formula" which allows the calculation of any Fibonacci number, (n).

The "formula" is given by:

F(n) = [(Phi)ⁿ - (-phi)ⁿ] / √5

Where      Phi = [√5 + 1] / 2      and     phi  =  [√5 - 1] / 2       So we have........

F(n) = [ ((√5 + 1) / 2)ⁿ -  ((1- √5 ) / 2)ⁿ ] / √5 =  [ (1 + √5 )ⁿ -  (1- √5 )ⁿ ] / (2ⁿ√5)

I suspect it should be in the following form (where n is a positive integer):

This function generates the Fibonacci sequence, so the questioner is asking for the 54'th Fibonacci number.

The calculator here has some problems with precision!  The answer should be 86267571272.

Just to illustrate that the function really does generate the numbers in the Fibonacci sequence here are the first 20 values calculated from it (n = 1, 2, 3, ..., 20) (from the third one onwards each one is the sum of the previous two).

9431 if you count from right to left, or 1349 if you count from left to right.

I did notice that too Chris but it may not have been a gender change maybe just a quick change of name - Maybe a border was crossed and Jenny I mean Jimmy was a wanted man I mean woman er I don't know what I mean,  Neither does Jinny.  

Alan walks 30km farther than Jenny for each hour they walk. And since they both walk for 3 hours, then at the end of that time, Jenny must be 90km behind, i.e., 90km from Town B.

It appears that another factor must have slowed "Jenny's" progress.......a change in gender somewhere along the way........since at 11:30......"Jenny" is now "Jimmy."

I am just speaking for myself but I do not think that this makes sense.

Can you word it better?

For instance,

Is the first digit the one in the 10thousand column or the one in the units column?

But I think even more explanation than this is necessary.

The small inaccuracy in the first arises because √6 is an irrational number and the calculator only stores it to a finite precision.

sqrt6 on this calculator is often entered as 6 sqrt on older calculators.

So it the equal sign is hit as you go through the question. Because it does so 

(1)multiply the answer

(2)square that answer

The only way you can get a running 'answer' like this is to keep hitting the equal sign.
