It's a trick that only works on Halloween.....!!!!

15sin^2 (2x)  = 1 + sin (2x)

                        _________          multiply both sides by 2

(6 sin (2x)  + 1)  ( 5sin (2x) - 1)  = 0

Set each factor to 0  and solve for x

6sin(2x)  = -1

From the drawing,  it appears that  4x  = 3y  ⇒   (4/3)x  = y

So......L  =  3y  =  3(4/3)x  =  4x

And  W  = y + 2x   =  (4/3)x + 2x  =  (10/3)x

So

L : W   =    4x : 10/3 x   =   4 : 10/3   =   12 : 10   =  6 : 5

The thing that might be giving you trouble is that we have to account for the missing powers  in

To rectify this....write this as   x^3  + 0x^2 + 0x - 7
