For the last graph.....your choice of the top right graph is correct  !!!!

On the second one...

The bottom left graph is correct...the vertex of the parabola is (1, -2)

Did you save the image to your hard drive ????

If so.....

Click on the Image tab

"Image Properties" should show.....click on the "or Upload" tab

This brings you to the "Image Upload" page

Verify that you are not a robot  and then choose file

Find the file and hit "open"

This will bring you back to the "Image Upload" page

Hit "upload"

Then.....hit the green "OK" tab

The image should display

Of these.....5 are yellow pieces with four holes

So.....the probability that the missing piece is a yellow piece with four holes is

[ Number of  yellow pieces with four holes ] / [ Total number of pieces ] =

5  /   35   =

1 / 7

P ( card contains letter in  word HEAD or multiple of 3 ) =

P(card contains letter in  word head) + P ( card is a multiple of 3)  - P( card contains letter in word HEAD and is a multiple of 3)  =

(4 / 20 )    + ( 3 / 20 ) - (0)  =

7 / 20

it just means logical AND

I use it when sets aren't obviously involved but you need to meet 2 or more conditions.

Second one

A =  the amplitude =   difference between highest and lowest position / 2  =  6 / 2   =  3

The period is 20 

B =   2pi / period  =    2pi / 20  =   pi / 10

The function is  

y = 3 sin ( pi * x / 10  )

On the first one " The function is a reflection of its parent function over the x axis".....I'm not sure why this matters

But, anyway

We have the form

y = Asin (Bx)  + D

A = the amplitude = 3

B =   2pi / period =  2pi / 4pi   =   1/2

D = the shift up = 2

So....the function is :

y = 3 sin [ (1/2)x] + 2
