Oh that was a simple and small great solution!!

I actually did a long one using the Law of cosines

Since I have all three side lengths 

therefore AB^2=AC^2 + CB^2 -2AC*BC*Cos(angle c) 

i also got to the result 44.4

Not totally sure about this one, Nickolas, but I believe that the median of the data is the best measure of the center.....the data is skewed to the left [not symmetric]  and if we use the mean, this will tend to "pull" the  center of the data  to the right because of the outlier

The base area is just the area of a square = 0.9^2  = 0.81  ft^2

Their height  = 4ft  and their base   =  0.9 ft

So....their total area  =  4 (1/2) base * height  =  4(1/2) (0.9) (4)  =  2 (0.9)(4)  = 8 (0.9) = 7.2 ft^2

So the toal suface area  =   [ 0.81 + 7.2] ft^2  =  8.01 ft^2

Distance from P to A  =  √ [(4-0)^2 + (2-0)^2 ]  = √[16 + 4]  = √20  = 2√5

Distance from P to B  = √ [ (8- 4)^2 + (-1 - 2)^2 ]  = √[ (4)^2 +  (-3)^2]  = √[16 + 9 ]  = √25 = 5

Distance from P to C  = √ [  (5 - 4)^2 + (4 - 2)^2 ]  = √[ (1)^2 + (2)^2 ]  = √ [ 1 + 4 ] = √5

So....the sum of the distances  =  5 + 2√5 + √5

5 + 3√5

m = 5    n  = 3

And their sum is  8

[Of much more interest would be to actually find the Fermat point.... I wonder if Wanda's "guess" is correct  ??]

Amount that will flow over = 6443.28-5852 = 591.28 cm^3

Sam's age  =  2 years less than 3 times Kim's age

Sam's age  =  3 * Kim's age - 2 years

Let  x  be Kim's age in years so that we can just say....

Sam's age  =  3x - 2

To find the surface area we have to calculate every square in the problem and we only need to find the area of 1 square and then multily that area by how many squares there are 

Formula for a rectangle/square    \(Length * With = area\) 

Now we know to make a square all sides must be the same lenght other wise it would be defined as a rectangle 

so we can see that all sides are registering as 3 in the problem and inserting this for are lenght and height we get 

\(3 * 3 = 9\)

Now we know the area of 1 square is 9 

Multiplying that by how many squares there are   \(9 * 6 = 54\)

So now we know the total surface area is 54in² 

or other wise 6 * 3 * 3 = 54in²

So 6*3*3 is the correct answer

What do you get if you calculate that?

You got to add all the scores together then divide it by the number of scores:

0 + 0 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 4 + 4 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 6 + 6 = 60

There are 7 scores

60 ÷ 19 = 3.157

The mean hockey score is 3.2

sin( angle )  =  opposite / hypotenuse

sin( C )  =  35 / 50

                                         Take the inverse sine of both sides of the equation.

C  =  arcsin( 35 / 50 )

                                         Plug  arcsin(35/50)  into a calculator to get...

C  ≈  44.427°
