ok so LCM of 6 & 15 is 30...

30/6=5 so 1/6 = 5/30 (you must multiply the numerator and denominator by the same value to keep it in ratio)

30/15 = 2 so 7/15 = 14/30

so the answers are 1/6 = 5/30 and 7/15 = 14/30

(-3)*(-3)*(-3) = 9*(-3) = -27

Depends what sin θ is!  

If sin θ is positive and tan θ is negative we must be in the second quadrant where cos θ is negative.

If sin θ is negative and tan θ is negative we must be in the 4th quadrant where cos θ is positive.

Before you add or subtract two equations in two unknowns you want to adjust them so that one unknown is multiplied by the same magnitude number in both equations.  This way, when you add or subtract them that unknown disappears and you are left with just one.

Using your equations 

8x + 2y = 7   ...(1)

3x - 4y = 5    ...(2)

If only the first equation had 4y instead of 2y we could get rid of the y terms by adding the two equations.

We can make it have 4y instead of 2y by multiplying every term in the equation by 2.

16x + 4y = 14   ...(3)

Now let's add equations (2) and (3) term by term:

3x + 16x - 4y + 4y = 5 + 14

19x = 19

Divide both sides by 19

x = 1

Now replace x in one of your original equations by 1:

8*1 + 2y = 7

2y = -1

Divide both sides by 2

The ! symbol indicates a factorial.  It is placed after a number, for example 5! (which you say as five factorial)

This means 5*4*3*2*1.

7! means 7*6*5*4*3*2*1

etc.

Actuall I read it wrong my bad! It was multiplying each side by 5/3 is the same as dividing by 3/5 :)
