= (1/8) ÷ (4/1)

Dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying by its reciprocal:

= (1/8) * (1/4)

= (1*1)/(8*4)

= 1/32

On the website calculator, click on the word "Scientific" (on the right of the answer box).

Choose "Equations" from the drop-down menu that will appear. The calculator should now show the words "Equation Solver."

Then click on the button "1 variable, 1 equation" and change it to however many equations are in your system of equations. (I believe the maximum is 6, at least if you input equations in this way.)

Then, after you have typed in the equations, click "Enter" and the answers should pop up:)

Alternate way:

Type in "solve("

Then type in all your equations in the system.

Close the parentheses and click "Enter"

Using this method you can have more than 6 equations in one system.

That is a very good question anon.  

A dollar times by 0 can be interpreted  as zero lots of a dollar which is certainly nothing (no money anyway)

Now by the same logic 0 times 0 could be said to be zero lots of nothing  which means that you cannot have nothing because I just said I have zero lots of nothing.

 logically this should/could mean that you have something. Because if you don't have nothing then you must have something.

0*0=0  this is what I have always believed to be true but after this logical examination of the situation perhaps another mathematician would like to comment.

There is a drop down menu - vectors/matrices is one of the choices

when in there - there is a button on the left where you can choose vectors or matrices 

then it is pretty obvious I think

the variable a would be 25 or lower because when you put it in with 25 as a the left side would equal 4, and any number below 25 would work too. What I did was 2/5(1a-15) less than or equal to 4. then I used the distrubitive property. 2/5a-6 less than or equal to 4. I then added 6 to both sides. That will cancel out the -6.

Let's fix your picture to make it clear where money is coming from. Let's say you're a barber and every customer tips you a dollar. At the end of the day, how much have you made in tips? Multiply a dollar by the number of customers you had. If you had 10 customers, you made $10. If you had 20 customers, you made $20. So, what about the day that your shop was closed because of a blizzard? By your reasoning, you'd still make a buck, even though you had zero customers. No, it's clear that you make $0: $1 times 0 customers is $0.
