about 2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000kg
here is the equation: 5+2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000-5

You made a small mistake.
4.5333X
11
+ 4.5333X -
X
10
= 0
From here out you can exclude x:
X.(4.5333X
10
+ 4.5333 - X
9
) = 0
So you can conclude that X=0 is one of the possibilities. However the equation is the beginning contained (1/X), so you would have to say that X=0 is not possible. Now you are left with:
4.5333X
10
+ 4.5333 - X
9
= 0

4.5333 = 1/x(1-(1/(1+x^10))) ....find x
Multiply both sides by x
subtract 1 from both sides
multiply both sides by (1+10^x)
add 1 to both sides
I think you end up with
4.5333X
11
+ 4.5333X - 10
10
= 0
And if you can solve this you are doing really well.

Well, if you've got something like log 6 = x
you would just type in log 6
Yes but you need to know what the base is, your calculator can only handle base 10 (log) and base e ( ln )
Log
10
6 = 0.77815128....
Log
e
6 = 1.791759469.....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you'd have something like this
5log6 = x (or log5,6 that depends on country) NO, THESE ARE DIFFERENT THINGS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5log6 means 5*log6 and that is how you enter it. (could be base 10 or base e or someother base, you need to know which one)
You are talking about change of base
log
5
6 which is worded as log of 6 base 5.
You can't do this on the calculator because it not in base 10 or base e, so you have to change it using change of base.
log
5
6 = log6 / log5 This will give the same answer no matter what base you use, so long as numerator and denominator have the same base.
log
5
6 = log6 / log5 = 1.113282753
I hope this clears things up a little.
This is a interactive web page that would be good for you to work through.

The answer is D. 256.
1 = 1^1 4 = 2² 27 = 3³ 256 = 4^4 3125 = 5^5

Seriously? You need help for this? I don't care how bad at math you are, if you make an effort anyone can solve this.
(18/2).3²=9.9=81
[Maybe you meant this (then your description is wrong):
18/(2.3²)=18/(2.9)=18/18=1
]

Hm, I think I may have figured it out. Thanks anyway! Please feel free to still post an explanation though as I would like to make sure that I am correct, and, if not, get further explanation.

Do you mean is y=2 a solution of ....?
Is 2 a solution to the following inequality: 7y + 4 > 20
Left hand side = 7*2+4 = 18
18 is not > 20
therefore y=2 is not a solution.

Determine whether Point A (-5,8) lies on the circle whose center is Point C (1,2) and which contains the Point P (7,-4).
(x-1)
2
+ (y-2)
2
= r
2
r
2
= (distance PC)
2
r
2
= (-4-2)
2
+ (7-1)
2
= 36 + 36 = 72
so
(x-1)
2
+ (y-2)
2
= 72
Now just plug in x=-5 and y=8 and see if it makes the equation true.
If it does then A is on the circumference of the circle.

2x+1^3(6-x)= -3
2x+[ 1^3]*(6-x)= -3
2x+1(6-x)=-3
x+6 = -3
x = -9
Is this the question that you intended to ask?

Are you trying to find T? If so, here's what you would do:
T3=10-(3)
Simplify first (collect like terms)
T3=7
Divide out the 3
T=7/3
T=2.33333333334 (The 3 never terminates)
I hope this helped!

1+9a-8=8a
First you would have to simplify (in this case, collect like terms)
(-7)+9a=8a
Then you would move your 9a
(-7)=(-1a)
Since you're looking for positive a, you would multiply each side by negative one
7=a
or a=7
Hope this helped!
