This is asking:
6 x ? + 2 x ? = 2
First work that out.
Then work out this:
5 x ? + 7 x ? = 6
Then you have to make sure that you used the same two numbers for '?' in both lines.
That makes both lines true, and solves the equation.
Hi! How are you?
I've watched the video read the post on Negative and Positive numbers.
Thanks it's really helped.
So to find volume : Find the area times by the depth.
4/6 =50%
7/9 =$${\frac{{\mathtt{7}}}{{\mathtt{9}}}} = {\mathtt{0.777\: \!777\: \!777\: \!777\: \!777\: \!8}}$$
Which is bigger than 50%
So 7/9
Thank you all.
three times seven which equals twenty-one the take away three which equals eighteen and add two
$$\mathrm{ERROR}$$
5100=66r²
5100/66=77,2727272727...
√77,27272727...=8,79
So r² =8,79
If we're taking about segment XY, its perpendicular bisector intersects it at the point (1, 3)
If we're talking about segment XZ, using the mid-point formula, its perpendicular bisector intersects it at the point (7/2, 3)
And for segment YZ, the point of intersection would be (7/2, 1)
Not sure what you mean fiora :/
The perpendicular bisector of a line segment cuts the segement at the midpoint between the two ends.
Yes.I believe it's correct.
You were right fiora - I had made a mistake. Does it look right now? Thank you
Thanks Alan,Melody,and Dbg4thebest.
I hope that you are feeling better now Mellie
Maybe it was low blood pressure ? Dehydration would make low blood pressure worse I am guessing.
Maybe your mum will get a doctor to check you tomorrow. It could be something else altogether.
Hi,Melody.
I think there is something wrong in anwser.
In your second step,f(tan(x))=tanx*(1-tanx)/sec^2(x)
=tanx*cos^2(x)*(1-tanx)
=cosx*sinx*(1-tanx)
It is not phrased as a limiting question anon.
And if it was it would have to be also have to be stated as "from the positive side"
Hence there is no answer.
Don't forget the brackets Eloise
It also equals
$$x+1-\frac{3}{x-8}$$
$$\\f(tan(x))=\frac{tanx-tan^2x}{1+tan^2x}\\\\ f(tan(x))=\frac{tanx(1-tanx)}{sec^2x}\\\\ f(tan(x))=cos^2x\;tanx(1-tanx)\\\\ f(tan(x))=\frac{cos^2xsinx}{cosx}(1-tanx)\\\\ f(tan(x))=cosxsinx(1-tanx)\\\\ f(tan(x))=cosxsinx-sin^2x\\\\ f(tan(x))=sin(x)[cos(x)-sin(x)]\\\\ or\\ f(tan(x))=\frac{sin2x-2sin^2x}{2}\\\\$$
Edited: Thanks fiora
25500(1+0.8)^10
=25500*(1+0.8)^10
Now use the calc on the home page :)
$$852852480.50=8.5285248050*10^{8}$$
$$\\ln(k)=30.17\\\\ e^{ln(k)}=e^{30.17}\\\\ k=e^{30.17}\\\\$$
In a certain string ensemble, the ratio of men to woman is 5:3.If there are total of 24 people in the ensemble, how many women are ?
This is another of my pet techniques.
9 Women
Great answer anon :)
