This is not 6P1
It is 6P6
that is, in how many ways can 6 people be ordered if they are taken from an original group of 6 people.
$${\left({\frac{{\mathtt{6}}{!}}{({\mathtt{6}}{\mathtt{\,-\,}}{\mathtt{6}}){!}}}\right)} = {\mathtt{720}}$$
Here I am - one is me and the other is an Australian ant hill. Can you guess which is which?
ok if I am multiplying polynomials what is the answer to 2h times 5h to the fifith power
Do you mean
$$2h*(5h)^5=2h*5^5*h^5=6250h^6\\ or\\ 2h*5*h^5=10h^6$$
This is the basic unit for all imaginary numbers. It has NO real number answer.
$$i=\sqrt{-1}$$
Hi THEMIGHTYALGOL,
That was a really good answer. Thank you.
I also see that you only joined yesterday (Maybe today be your clock)
Welcome to web2.0calc forum. We hope that you enjoy yourself here.
Melody.
A note to anon.
Chris has probably answered the question that you intended to ask BUT
this is the question that you did ask.
x-7/9x=5/12
$$\begin{array}{rll} x-\frac{7}{9}x&=&\frac{5}{12}\\\\ \frac{2x}{9}&=&\frac{5}{12}\\\\ 36\times \frac{2x}{9}&=&36\times \frac{5}{12}\\\\ 8x&=&15\\\\ x&=&\frac{15}{8}\\\\ x&=&1\frac{7}{8}\\\\ \end{array}$$
I definitely prefer exact answers
But I don't like improper fractions much. I think that they should be presented as mixed numberals.
If you were able to use the repeating dot notation for a decimal that would also be fine to because that is exact.
You need to use brackets to make your meaning clear.
Can you fix yours up please GoldenLeaf. The answer is right but you need brackets.
There are a few answerers here who understand physics very well. They are none here at present but if you leave your well presented question it is highly likely that you will recieve a good answer within the next 10 to 24 hours.
Pretty freaking big.
A quick search turned up nothing, and I don't have the time to delve too deep. Honestly, just looking it up would be the best (unless somebody else has it ready).
Nope, I'm just a freshman in high school anyways, but I hope to by the end of senior year.
Ummmm?
"If I asked the other one which way not to go, what would he say?" Then you go that way.
√12 + 2 + √12 - 2 =
√12 + √12
2√12
Needs illustration.
I think you might want to convert F to C
The "formula" is ...... (5/9)[(F) - 32]
(5/9)[(50) - 32] = (5/9)[18] = 10° C
well, usually, it's four.
(in base one, it's 2
in base two, it's 8
in base three, it's 18
in base 10, it's 200
log2 plus log2 equals log4)
I'm going to assume that you're trying to convert fahrenheit to celsius.
C= 5/9 (F-32) C = 5/9 (50-32) 50- 32 = 18 C = 5/9 *18 = 10 Celcius
The area of a regular hexagon is given by:
6*(1/2)*s2*(√(3)/2) = (1/2)*(3√(3))*s2 .... where s is the side length
So we have
(1/2)*(3√(3))*(5/8)2
(1/2)*(3√(3))*(25/64) =
(75√(3)) / (128) sq inches
Yes, that clip is certainly different. I think that I liked it.
But in the end, a logarithm is a power (or exponent)
$$1000=10^3\\\\ \mbox{therefore}\\\\ log_{10}1000=3$$
