her next five stops is on the??? floor or higher?
THANKS SO MUCH!!!
Why are you so rude? i wanted the whole explanation, not the answer. Instead you took the time to insult me. You seem more interested in making others feel bad. Stop writing these answers if you want to help others learn.
Do you have diagrams for these questions???
DO you have a QUESTION with which we may be able to help you?
12t, 2400 ft, 45m
1t, 2400ft, 540m
9ft, 2400ft, 60m
9ft, 1ft, 1/40m
9ft, 3600ft, 1/40*3600=360/4=\(\boxed{90}\) minutes!
2400 sq ft / 45 minutes/12 members = 4.44 sq ft / min/member (each member can paint 4.44 sqft/min)
3600 sq ft / ( 4.44 sqft/min/mem * 9 members) = 90 mins
Except 0 itself, obviously.
Can you explain how you got 23? Thanks in advance!
Welclome!
-5+7g=3g+9, 7g-3g=14, 4g=14, g=3.5.
Yes; it is. 0 is divisible by any number!
Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Thanks guys!
8 team members, 5000 ft., 30 minutes
8 team members, 8000 ft, ?
8 team members, 166 ft , 1 minute
8 team members, 8000 ft, \(\boxed{48}\) minutes, approximately
Double oops! See tertre 's answer......
23 x 2 / 2 = 23 handshakes !
8 x 40 = 320 m^2 =
320 m^2 / (.3048 m/f )^2 = 3444.45 ft^2
3444.45 ft^2 / 400 ft^2/gal = 8.61 gal =~ 9 gallons of paint required
Oops, then it's 23 handshakes!
Well, I don't know if this is correct, but...
8m*40m=320m^2 and 320 meters is approximately \(320m^2 * (1ft/0.3048m)^2 * (1gal/400ft^2) = 8.611\) galllons( unit conversions) feet, so 9 gallons?
No! Each must shake hands with 2 others.
The Team paints at a rate of 5000 sq ft / 30 min = 166.67 sqft/min
Since the team does not change size:
8000 sq ft / 166.67 sqft/min = 48 min
Or, we can just plug the value in the handshake formula: n(n-1)/2, 23*22/2=23*11=253 handshakes!

The DISTANCE is the same regardless of the SPEED.
Let x = amount of hours required at 60 MPH
then x+ 40/60 = hours required at 50 MPH
Since the distance is equal:
60 * x = 50 (x + 40/60) Then slove for 'x' = 3 1/3 hr
60 mph takes 3 1/3 hr = 60 x 3 1/3 miles = 200 miles
