1) I don't know how to sum them up mathematically, but my computer comes up with this summation:

This is a second quadrant angle whose cosine = -1/2   =   60°  in the second quadrant  = 2pi / 3

cos θ  =   x  / r

r  =  √ [ (-2)^2 + (-3)^2 ]  = √ [ 4 + 9 ]  = √13
