Again....the resistors are wired in PARALLEL ....so they BOTH have 20v applied across them
v/r = i 9v / 20 ohm =.......A
Circumference = pi d = pi 2 r = pi (9) (2) = 18 pi
fraction of the circumference is 3 /18pi x 2pi = 6/18 = 1/3 R or 19.0985o
It must have popped back up sorry
ohhh okay ! that works as well and makes sense.
We already went through this ! https://web2.0calc.com/questions/let-find#r3
Awesome! so i was correct!(:
The common difference is +6 +6 is added to each subsequent term
from 2000 to 2005 would be FIVE +6's = 30
You could still do it this way:
1 / (1/r1 + 1/r2) = 1 /( r2/(r2 *r1) + r1/(r2*r1) ) = R2 * R1 /( R2+R1) See how it works out? ONLY with TWO resistors in parallel though !
Since they are wired in parallel, all three resistors have the same voltage (12v) applied across them.....the smallest resistor will have the largest current....the largest resistor will have the smallest current
this is so much more clear than my solution, thanks!
hmm , no i have not yet. that makes sense! I was quite confused on this one. thank you!
that is what i was thinking! awesome thank you
9x^2 + 24x + a =
9 (x^2 + 24/9 x + a/9) 'complete the square'
9(x^2 + 24/9x + 144/81) where 144/81 = a/9 a = 16
9 ( x + 12/9)^2
9 x^2 + 24x + 16 =
(3x+4)^2
a is 16, since the binomial is of form (3x+4)^2 since 3^2=9 and 3*4*2=24. 4^2=16 im sorry that this isnt clear or if it's wrong.
1 / (1/10 + 1/30 + 1/5) = 3 ohms
Have you seen this?
the resultant resistance of two resistors in parallel = (r1 x r2) /(r1+r2) = 300/40 = 7.5 ohms
V=IR or V/R = I 45 v /7.5 ohm = 6.00 A
thank you!!
9 1/6 can't be a whole number because it has a fractional part therefore it is a mixed number. As an improper fraction it is 55/6
Distance to and from are the same = d
speed to sis = x
speed from sis = x+10 m/hr
rate x time = d
3 hrs * x m/r = 2.5 hr (x+10)
3x = 2.5x + 25
.5x = 25 You can take it from here !
Circumference = pi * d = 22 pi inches
800 feet = 9600 inches
9600/22pi = ~~139 revolutions
Yes! r will tend to infinity as the series itself will tend to infinity.
thanks!
So does thatt mean my r value will be ∞?
(1/3)4 = (1/3)*(1/3)*(1/3)*(1/3) = 1/81
y = 7,5x + 40
y = 10x
10x = 7,5x + 40 | - 7,5x
2,5x = 40 | : 2,5
x = 16
y =10*16
y = 160
